Free LCP Holiday Events

Lake Claremont Press will be at the Irish American Heritage Center (4626 N. Knox Ave.) on Sunday, December 3rd from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. selling books during the annual Christmas Bazaar. Grace DuMelle, author of Finding Your Chicago Ancestors, will be autographing copies of her book from 1:00-3:00 p.m. The day's events also include a bake sale, raffle, music, traditional Irish breakfast, mass, and more.

Combine your holiday fun with holiday shopping--seriously! You'll have another opportunity to buy Lake Claremont Press books when we team up with the Polkaholics (again!--we love these guys!) for two special holiday celebrations at Lincoln Square Lanes (4874 N. Lincoln Ave., above the Ace Hardware store). The Polkaholics will be playing their special brand of holiday polka-rock during two free shows on Friday, December 15th and Saturday, December 16th from 9:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m. We'll be there before, after, and between the holiday cocktails and dances to ease your shopping woes. LCP Open House

Lake Claremont Press is having a new office Open House on Wednesday, November 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please feel free to come by with friends and family to help us warm the new space with familiar faces. Our staff will be on hand to give tours, answer questions, help with holiday shopping, and discuss all things Chicago. Food and drinks will be provided. Street parking is available.
