Chicago television pioneer Bruce Newton has passed away. Mr. Newton shared his local television memories about Garfield Goose, The Frazier Thomas Show, Super Circus, The Play House, Princess Mary's Castle, and Shock Theatre for two Lake Claremont Press books: The Golden Age of Chicago Children's Television and Chicago TV Horror Movie Shows: From Shock Theatre to Svengoolie. We appreciate his contributions and know his work will live on in the memories of many.
